These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of The Side Game and Side Game Event (together, "the Service"), operated by Axiom D.A. ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
The Side Game is a social golf scoring app for tracking casual rounds — Sixes, Skins, Stableford, Strokeplay, and Matchplay. Side Game Event is a companion tournament portal that lets organisers set up a golf day, check players in, run live scoring, and publish results.
Some features (saving round history, running an event as an organiser) require signing in with Google or an email and password. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.
Players joining an event through Side Game Event don't need an account — an Event Code and Player Code, provided by the organiser, are enough to check in and score. Organisers are responsible for how they collect and handle participant information (names, handicaps, and any optional contact details) before entering it into the Service, including getting any consent needed from their participants.

You keep ownership of the scores, feedback, photos, and other content you submit through the Service. By submitting it, you give us permission to store and process it as needed to provide the Service (for example, showing your scores to your group, or reading par values from a scorecard photo you upload).
The Side Game is built for friendly, informal golf — it is not an official handicap system and its results aren't recognized by any golf governing body. Don't rely on it for anything requiring an official handicap or score certification.
The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that scoring calculations will always be accurate — always double-check anything that matters (like a wager) before relying on it.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Axiom D.A. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including disputes between players over scores, stakes, or wagers made informally alongside a round.
We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service, and may update these Terms from time to time — we'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
